This place is one of a kind. A 200 year old mansion that has been modernised but still maintained its charm and uniqueness! Three floors of history, beautiful old paintings on walls, antique furniture wow wow wow! It's not often that you find such an extraordinary airbnb especially so conveniently located in the center of Alaro, some 8km away from Castell d'Alaró. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. Chill days by the pool and fun evenings playing pool definitely make us want to come back. The house was amazing! The pictures don't do it justice! Maria was awesome, so helpful and always available to answer questions. The town was great and perfectly located to be able to access the majority of the island in around 45 mins! We will definitely be coming back again!

We stayed at Maria's place for about 8 days, but we would have stayed there for the rest of our life... The house is a re-structured historic "masía" located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca, Alaró, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana. By "the heart" we mean that it is right attached to the main square of Alaró (still absolutely silent and quiet), where extremely welcome facilities can be found (from an exceptional bakery to several high-quality relatively-low-cost restaurants, an ice-cream stand, few super-markets...). Alaró is in turn at literally 45 min from any location in the island. Having stayed before in other coast-located places (e.g. Alcudia), where one needs more than 1.5h to get to the several hot spots in Mallorca, María's place being so centrally located couldn't just be more appreciated. The apartments (four or five, if I remember correctly) have a common garden, filled by both bamboo and local species of trees which just provide the necessary shadow to have a good lunch/dinner time around it. Besides, a clean and every-day cleaned swimming pool space, with all the furniture related to it (umbrellas, sun-loungers, kids-toys) is just the perfect complement for the every-day holidays life, regardless having spent it at the beach or in excursions in the neighbourhoods. A barbecue space is also available. We found the apartment not only clean, but well-provided with furniture and brand-new domestic electric appliances, and small details which really made the always-difficult-first-night in such kind of rentals just like being at home (soaps, towels, some coffee ready to be prepared, fresh drinks in the fridge...)
